Former sprinter Kabitana elected new president of Atheltics Solomon


Former sprinter Nelson Kabitana has been elected as the new president of Athletics Solomon this afternoon.

Kabitana was elected this afternoon only days after the national championship was held in West Guadalcanal.

 Robert Aaron is the new vice-president for technical whilst Reginald Hou is responsible for administration.

Another former sprinter Chris Walasi is the new general- secretary, whilst Jeffrey Mekab is the treasurer.

The officer bearers who will in office for the next four years will oversee the national athletics team for the 2023 Pacific Games in Honiara.

The rest of the members are: Michael Kuali, Donation Damikura, Ben Dausabea and Timothy Amao.
